Volume Void Trade (Low Volume Node)
Entry Logic
- Entry is a long position when the price enters a volume void (low volume node) from below.
- Confirmation is a strong bullish candle closing inside the void.
- Timeframe is the 60-minute chart.
- Location is at the bottom of a volume void.
- Market is in an uptrend.
Exit Logic
- Profit target is the top of the volume void.
- Do not scale out.
- Trail the stop loss below the low of the entry candle.
- Exit if the price closes back below the volume void.
- Exit on a bearish reversal pattern.
- Exit if the price does not move up quickly.
- Exit if buying momentum stalls.
Stop Loss Structure
- Hard stop is placed below the low of the entry candle.
- Soft stop is a close back below the volume void.
- Maximum dollar loss is $400 per trade.
- Maximum percent loss is 4% of the account.
- Structural stop is below the volume void.
Risk Management Framework
- Risk 3% of the account per trade.
- Daily loss limit is 9% of the account.
- Weekly loss limit is 18% of the account.
