How many blocks and days are left until the next Bitcoin halving?

Enter The Current Block Height

Look this up on any block explorer. Bitcoin's own consensus rule halves the block subsidy every 210,000 blocks, so this is the only number that actually matters.

Bitcoin targets 10 minutes on average, adjusted by the difficulty every 2016 blocks. The genuine recent average can run a little faster or slower depending on network hash rate, so use a block explorer's actual trailing average for a tighter estimate.

Enter the current block height and click Calculate to see the blocks remaining, an estimated date, and the block subsidy before and after the halving.

How this is calculated

Risk & liability disclaimer: This calculator produces a mathematical estimate based on the block height and average block time you enter. It is not financial advice and does not guarantee any trading or investment outcome, and a halving event itself does not guarantee any particular price reaction. Cryptocurrency trading involves substantial risk of loss, including total loss of principal, and is not suitable for everyone. Always verify the current block height independently from a block explorer before relying on this estimate.
