Does this look at my actual brokerage account?

No. It only totals the ticker and dollar amounts you type in during this browser session. Nothing is saved, sent anywhere, or connected to a genuine account.

How often am I trading the same ticker over and over, and how concentrated is my risk in it?

Q: How often am I trading the same ticker over and over, and how concentrated is my risk in it?

Log each trade's ticker and dollar amount as you go. The tool sums the amounts by ticker and shows each one's percent of your total logged capital, ranked from most to least concentrated.

How this is calculated

Each ticker's percent is its total logged dollar amount divided by the sum of every ticker's logged amount, across everything you've entered this session.
A commonly cited rough guideline is to watch for any single ticker running past roughly a quarter of your logged trading capital, with anything approaching or beyond about 40% flagged as a heavier concentration worth a second look. The right number for you depends on your own risk tolerance and how correlated that symbol is with your other holdings.
This tracks dollars committed across the trades you log, not just currently open positions. Use it to spot a pattern of tunnel vision on one favorite name over time.
This tracker only holds entries for your current browser session. Refreshing or closing the page clears the log, and nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

Risk & liability disclaimer: This tool only performs simple arithmetic on the numbers you enter and holds them in your browser for this session only. Refreshing or closing the page clears the log, and nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
