Does this tool tell me how much to reduce my risk by?

No. You choose your own reduced risk per trade, cooldown, and win requirement based on your trading plan. This tool only restates those choices clearly on a card and shows the percentage cut they represent.

How this is calculated

The reduction percentage equals 1 minus your reset risk divided by your normal risk, expressed as a percent. This restates the cut in plain language, it does not calculate a "correct" reset risk for you.
This tool does not recommend a specific reset risk percentage, cooldown length, or number of required wins. You choose those based on your own trading plan and past experience, and this card writes them down clearly so you actually follow them in the moment.
A losing streak is a normal part of trading, even for a system with a genuine edge. What usually separates a rough stretch from a blown account is whether size gets cut or size gets increased in response.
Use the Print button to print the card, or Copy to paste the text into a journal, notes app, or sticky note near your monitor.
