Does a Go score mean this 0DTE trade will be profitable?

No. This checklist scores your trade-planning process, not the outcome. 0DTE options can lose all their value by the close regardless of how well the trade was planned.

I understand this contract can lose all its value by the close today, and I have accepted that as a genuine possible outcome.
I have sized this trade as pure speculation. Losing all of it would not affect my other trading or my bills.
I know whether this contract is cash-settled or physically-settled, and what that means if I hold it into the close.
I checked the bid-ask spread in dollar terms, and it is not eating an unreasonable chunk of my potential profit.
I have a defined exit price or exit time, for both a loss and a win, not just a plan to watch it.
This is not a size-up because of an earlier win or loss today.
I am not placing this trade only because 0DTE volume or social media chatter made it feel urgent.
I would still take this exact trade at this exact size if I had to explain the reasoning out loud to someone else.

How this is calculated

Each checked statement adds one point toward readiness, out of 8 possible points.
0DTE options carry extreme gamma and theta. Value can swing hard on a small price move and decays toward zero by the close, there is no next day to recover from a bad read.
A high score here does not predict whether this specific contract will be profitable. It only confirms your process and risk controls are in place before you place the trade.
This checklist is about process, not outcome. A well-checked trade can still lose everything, and 0DTE options are structurally built so that many of them expire worthless.
